Will there be a PT Wrimo gathering on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8:30PM after PT Shorts? Will it be at the back tables at Elevated or is this only a rumor???

It's the first I've heard of it, but it seems like a nice rumor.

Since there doesn't seem any action in P.A. or Sequim, I'm willing to head to P.T. Anyone want to confirm the rumor before I make the trek?

I'll be at a back table at Elevated after PT Shorts Dec. 1, with a WRIMO sign, if I get ambitious.

I think it sounds great...except for that vexing possibililty of snow. Northwest drivers are scary in the snow!

I just looked up PT Shorts and I'll try to make it tomorrow (Saturday, Dec 1) and see if I can connect with you. I'll try to find my NaNoWriMo donor sticker and where one. I'll have on a dark charcoal grey turtleneck sweater. Depends on the weather as to whether I wear my long muted purple coat or my purple & orange (looks better than it sounds) shadow knit shawl. PT Shorts sounds like fun!

Congratulations on winning NaNoWriMo 2007!

Pauline,

I'm just high enough up that there's some concern that the rain/snow mix will turn into some nasty slick ice by the time I'd be starting home. It looks like I'm grounded due to the weather. I'm so sorry. I was really looking forward to hearing the PT Shorts and meeting with you. If you'd like to stay in touch and try again when we can get a consistent bit of road conditions, please drop me a line.

I'm feeling a bit concerned about the weather myself, and will probably sit this one out. Bummer!

Okay, Wrimos. When the going gets tough, the tough take reasonable precautions...
But we're pretty close to downtown PT, and I'm from Wisconsin, where this is not even weather = ) , so barring unforseen circumstances, a WriMo "groupie" or two and I will be at Elevated at 8:30PM.
Maybe January's PT Shorts will offer better weather for Wrimos to gather.

Anybody in the PT area going to do Script Frenzy???

All best --

I've lived in Wisconsin. And in Calgary, where this is summer. More than anything, it's the other drivers who make me nervous.

I've no real interest in scriptwriting, I'm afraid. I'm considering FiMo. And a number of Geezers are planning to hang out & continue writing. I'll probably hang with them.
