It's exciting now!
Go, Go! Write!
Get off of the forums!
Seriously!
Even if you don't think you can make it to 50K, every word is one word more that you have to show for your November than the person who watched CSI reruns all month. Keep up the writing for this afternoon, get your story pointed in the right direction.
It's exciting!
Good luck!

1800 to go. It's the worst trash I've ever written in my entire life. I don't even have an ending yet. I'm exhuasted. I've written like 25,000 words in one week. ridiculous. but I'm happy about it. I'm an idiot. :)

Congrats to the winners!
I've typed up everything I've handwritten, and have decided to be fine with that -- because in 2007 I wrote more than twice as much as I did in 2006!
2006: 865 words
2007: 1,933 words
And I've got the beginnings of two potentially very good novels that I do think I'll finish one day!
See you all at the TGIO Party tomorrow!
Addicted to exclamation points...

Well, I've written a ton.. I had almost 18k to go when I went to class last night.
From 6pm last night (while paying some attention in class) until now, I've manged 13k of that...
Now if I could just finish.

I'm just now sitting down with five hours and 1,103 words to go... :-)
Looking forward to meeting y'all at the TGIO party tomorrow. I didn't come to the kickoff because I hadn't signed up yet.

I want to run away screaming.
I will kill myself before I'm 2800 words more.
Okay, maybe I won't, but I'm frustrated enough that the mailman is about to have a heart attack for no apparent reason.
Two chapters and 2800 words... I can do this.
I can do this.
I can do this.
AAAAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I'm dying in exactly 2462 words and one validation.
My back hurts like hell and my wrist that was sprained shortly before the month started feels like it's going to fall off from all the use today. I'll be sleeping until I drive 90 miles per hour to get to the kickoff on time.

Wouldn't it suck to catch a case of writer's block right about now? ;-)

Umm.. I caught one around noon.
I caught one around six.
I caught one all of last week.
And there's no way on god's green earth I can come up with 2400 words to say about a party on a boat in the middle of percy priest lake.
I'm about to scream.
But if I screamed, I'd scare the cat.

Well, could you have your people go to the Waffle House on Stewart's Ferry Pike for drunk food?

LOL.. Probably.
I want to see where the boat scene gets me.
If I get close to the end, I'll write an alternate ending.
I don't know how I want it to end yet, anyway.

I'm nowhere near an end. I guess that's a good thing because I can expand the NaNoWriMo project into something of substantial length, but it seems that I have more work cut out for me than I did even before beginning the Blitzschreib. Ack.

Last year's attempt that I still need to edit will be about 100k by the time I'm done.
This year's attempt...who knows.. 10k of it is possible ending ideas.

Just over 6k of what I have done is random freewriting trying to get myself out of a writer's block suffered last week. It all is at least tangentially related to the narrative, but very little of it is written in the prose style adopted for the narrative, if that makes any sense. My MSWord count is at 50,100 right now, which probably means I need about 50 more words to get the NaNoBots to agree that I've gotten it....

Nov 30, 2007 - 19 13
Actually, if my comp counts like yours does, NaNo should say you've written about 100 more than you really have.
NaNo's adding about 75 words for me right now.

I guess mine doesn't count like yours (inwardly curses Dell), because Nano has been anywhere from 25 to 100+ behind word all month. Anyway. I'm going to scramble up and validate now....keep your toes crossed for me....

There are a million reasons to curse Dell.
Congrats on finishing.. I've got 1k more.
Tell me why I'm doing this again this year like I did last year?

Woot!! I did it! And NaNo was still 109 behind MSWord, but that doesn't matter. All I care about is the purple!

Yes, everybody chant for me.
If I counted all the words in this forum post, I'd be good to go.
I need another 128, according to my computer.
According to NaNo, it's probably half that, but I'm going by my computer.

Sorry I dissapeared earlier. The PDF for the winner's certificate killed my computer..
Then I made the mistake of running to the store with my mother.. Three hours later we got back from "a quick run"... grrrr
