Got this idea from another thread.
For those who finished their novels (although if you haven't, feel free to participate too), what are the last two paragraphs of your novel?
Mine:
I’ll be taking a break from blogging for now. I don’t know if this is a temporary hiatus or a final goodbye, but if I fail to update as soon as you might want me to, just imagine that I’m happily married to the man I love, Luke (and the sex would most likely be amazing!). I’ve changed my name from “Sabrina Wainwright” to “Sabrina Black-DeWitt,” to honor both my husband and my father. In a few months, I’ll be starting out at the college of my dreams, Juilliard, and I’ll probably get a job a few months after that to support myself and my husband, maybe as a bartender, at Carter’s or somewhere else.
It would be kind of silly of you to look for a Broadway play or musical starring Sabrina Black-DeWitt, seeing as that isn’t my real name anyway, but when you find one with me in it, I’m sure that you’ll know it’s me.

Not exactly the true ending. But they are the last two paragraphs. These are from the Appendices.
Bathala was angry because of what was done. He had said unto the manggalo god before he was killed that man can now never see the gods and himself anymore because they have been hatched early and not just in time. So then was the birth of the humans, who had most of the qualities and was made in the form of Bathala, but could not see him face to face because of the manggalo god Makyo. He was blessed though by Bathala to share the whole earth with where the gods have chosen their domain and will subdue the land and dominate it. They have to live through the breath of the air and thirst for water and food to live. Without these, they would die for they were made mortal along with the animals who roam around the earth. They were blessed with the freedom to think and free will was placed in their hearts, for freedom was what Bathala planned for them and for freedom he would lead them to him and develop a true and loving relationship.
Two of them were inside the bamboo shell. One was a man for his masculine body and because he was strong in nature and wild at heart, Bathala named him Malakas; the other one was a woman, smaller and more fragile than the man’s, she was made a helper among the men, and since she was compassionate in nature and beautiful, Bathala named her Maganda. These two became the first human beings and lived in toil and work and in the same way praised Bathala. They lived in harmony among the gods, who whispered to them with their ears and spoke to them, telling them stories of the world and how they are greatly loved by Bathala. They would go to Upper Monara and speak with Bathala, but never see him with their physical eyes. But in their hearts they knew that he and the other stewards were there, and they worshipped Bathala with their lives.

She pulled herself up and looked at Merrow’s corpse with regret. That he died like she knew he would did not help it at all. She said a little prayer for him and for his uncle who had chosen to die by his own hand instead of a demon’s. She had suddenly started believing in the Bright One, she realized. She had to believe in something, she supposed and since demons were real—then she assumed the Bright One was as well.
She walked towards Elegy who stared at her blankly. “I will save you,” she said and then smiled. “But for now, let us get you cleaned up, Elegy. We have a long journey ahead of us.”

As the light calms down, a new image emerged from beyond the grave. Luna lives once again in the form of Amihan. She had along her arms her mother as she opens up the ground and placing her inside.
“Truly you have never left me, forgive me for not seeing it all this time.”
Then a voice was heard coming from the walls of the cavern and it speaks about the new path this forest will take. Amihan will now lead the people to a better land, a land where they will eventually regain their humanity and hopefully open up the forest to the rest of the world.

I suppose I’ve made this too long… so it’s time to end this. Please take care of yourself, Hazel. And Daiciel too. Please tell him I’m sorry and that he should go find Rowel’s soul and put it in my body. That should give him his twin back, albeit a bit younger-looking. I’m sorry he had to wait for so long….
You should help him do it too, Hazel, since I dare to think you’d be going the same way. You’ll be going after your real brother, right?
(Love and Farewell,
Kyriel)
