Is anybody doing it? Did anyone do it last year? I think I'd like to, but it's, like, scary! Let me know!

Yep, I'm trying it out, whether or not I actually complete the twelve goals I set is another matter, but I'm giving it a shot anyway. Here are the goals I posted.
1. Publish a Novel
2. Graduate High School
3. Get a good summer job
4. Go to Europe
5. Keep my scholarship to college
6. Perform with my band (State of Unconsciousness)
7. Record a CD with my band
8. Go to California (with my band)
9. Edit a novel
10. Prepare for a mission
11. Get a driver’s license
12. Win another NaNoWriMo

I sorta did it last year with the whole "not working full time and not having a plan for what to do with my life" year... but I haven't thought of anything else that would be big or scary for '08 - I am going to set a reading goal (I guess it is already set) to read 100 books- and get a book published or at least out to editors in '08. So I guess the answer is yes...

Goerge, good luck with the band and the Europe trip! Narnia, just say the word and you know David and I will be there!
okay, here are mine:
--Learn conversational Spanish (at least be able to get a hotel room, find a restaurant, order, find my way around and find a bathroom)
--Help hubby with online shopping site (drudge work mostly, like packing and shipping)
--Climb the Incline again, taking less than 3 hours this time!
--Keep walking
--Make more healthy meals and have fewer 'fend for yourself' nights
--Edit my Nano novel and actually (gasp) submit it somewhere
--Learn to ride the motorcycle
--Go to Curves at least three times weekly (no excuses) and work up to four times a week
--Finish the quilts my mom left to me (this one is very difficult because every stitch I sew is like hard labor; I'm a writer, not a seamstress!)
--Finally cut out and sew that beautiful kimono styled jacket that I have the pattern and material for and which has been sitting there on the sewing box glaring at me for ever! (see above for difficulty level)
--Participate and complete Nano for 2008! (hey, there had to be at least ONE fun thing here!)
C'mon, Colorado Springs! Let's see your lists!

Well, it's already March; let's see what I've done so far...
er, well, I'm still walking regularly and going to Curves. Too cold to climb the incline yet. I'm researching Spanish classes at PPCC, but that's as far as I've gotten. Er, the 'fend for yourself' dinner nights are still alive and well at the casa Felix. Haven't touched the quilts or that beautiful kimono jacket yet, haven't edited anything, we just barely got the motorcycle out for the wonderful Saturday we just had, but hubby's bike is way too large for me to ride, so haven't done anything about learning to ride yet. I have been doing some helping out with the online auction stuff, and even opened my own shop on Etsy.com to sell jewelry (if anyone is interested, let me know), so there it is. I haven't done any of the difficult stuff yet, but I keep telling myself 'you still have months and months!' How is everyone else done on their big scary?
