So, I'm planing on writing a horror story. Problem is, I don't have a plot. TT_TT. That's why I need you guys' help, those of you who are good with all the plots. I've had SOME bits of a story that I could write, but I can never put them together....

Anyways, if you guys would tell me some tips or something else it would be really appreciative . Thanks. ^^

Even within the realms of horror, there's a LOT of sub-genres: monster, post-apocalyptic, splatterpunk (gore for the sake of gore, basically-- bit more complicated than that though), psychological terror, modern day (serial killers, stuff like that), paranormal...and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Add to that the multiple variations of each plus cross-genre issues and its kinda hard to give you a "rabid" plot bunny without knowing what you're looking for specifically.

Tell us about some of the bits.

What is it about horror stories that makes you want to write one?

Aye, it's a lot easier to help if we can see or just be informed a little more on the odd bits you have. :)

Green_xp,

All of the others responses are valid. In order to assist in your plot, we need to know what you are looking for. I can; however, provide you a tip in creating a plot based on horror. What I do is simple, I take something that happens to me in real life like spending a week in Arkansas for a conference for work. Then I throw in a few things that start to raise the hairs on the backs of the necks of our readers, then add monster/horror people (depending on what actually sub-genre you want to delve into).

Hope this helps.
