AA!! Help me! I am such a bad speller, so for my story (which is a mystery) that I'm writing with a friend, I was trying to spell something, but I counld't figure out how.

1. It's Fench sounding
2. Pronounced sh-ow-fer
3. Refers to a lio driver

Does anyone with good spelling know how to spell it?
