Celebratory Cup o Joe?

Hi all! I am new to Nano this month and just figured out how to get into these things. Hope everyone's word counts are soaring! Just wanted to say that I am rather fond of Sunday afternoons at Barnes and Noble here in St. Auggie. Anyone up for a celebratory cappacino to end week 3??? It might be fun to meet everybody.

How is the novel coming along?

How is it doing for all of you St. Augustine peoples (or those of us that are close enough to call it our region)?

I have had a great November so far. I hope to continue the momentum so when my young son has surgery on the 21st I won't worry if I don't write much for a few days. Feels good to be ahead (never was in the last three tries).

How about you? Getting the time to write? Keeping those characters alive (or killing them to keep the story going)?

I happen to live in Palm Coast; a small town in the small county below St. Augustine. I was wondering if any other Floridians were writing near me.

I am thinking about setting my story in the "sleepy little drinking village with a small fishing problem."

I had to do this. I get pretty discouraged when I am looking for the 7000 word shout and have to pass by a 25,000 word shout, let alone the 50,000 word shout.
