Write-ins?

So let's talk write-ins. Anyone interested, anyone have a venue to suggest? I was thinking about Mocha Maya's in Shelburne Falls, if anyone's in that area -- great place, good wifi, fantastic fair-trade coffee and delicious baked goods. Would anybody be up for this?
Anybody out there?

Hi, just moved to Granville from Maine. I actually grew up here, moved away, got married, then came back to the house I grew up in when my parents decided to sell it. It's great being back!

I have written 2 nanos, I guess you would call them adventure/fantasy. My hubby also does nano with me, that helps a lot.

Anyone else in the area?

:) Jen
Massachusetts in the '40s; New Ashford

Hey everyone! I'm not from the Berkshires myself, but my novel is set in New Ashford, MA which I have been informed is. The novel is set in the 1940's, so there's a lot of confusion about the setting as New Ashford was such a small town then(about 87 people), and there isn't much I can find about it.

So, I figured, where better to ask than people living in this very area? If you have anything about New Ashford or small Massachusetts towns in general, I would be elated to know! Especially information about the community's values and attitudes, the way the town is set up (stores, town hall, what kind of structures would it have?), roads, how such a town would react to a rape accusation. Anything goes. Thanks!

-Kelly
