I'm about halfway between Detroit and Port Huron as well - living in Armada and going to school in Rochester. I'm not sure which region I'd like better but I'm always up for attending meet-ups in both!

I'm one of those Between PH and Detroit people on Harsens Island. Most people don't even know where it is, so it's near Algonac/Fair Haven/Marine City. I don't know anybody around here who's doing NaNo, so *waves to everybody in Port Huron*
