So, while we quest for suitable locations, it would help to know in which locations we should quest. That's where you come in.

Give us your general geographic coordinates within the Sacramento region. Are you chillin' in Citrus Heights, rockin' in Rocklin, daring in Davis, fabulous in Folsom? Do you find yourself making it in Midtown, or perhaps lazing about in Lincoln? Maybe you're great in Galt, perfect in Placerville, or alright in Auburn. Or maybe you're in none of these places. But it doesn't matter.

Shout it out.

This ML is awesome in Antelope. Go me. :)

We'll probably end up doing Folsom Fridays again, but this is tentative. :)

This year, my car has both license plates.

I'm in Lincoln. I actually replied earlier, but I guess I didn't do it right because it did not appear here. I had just hit "reply" on the email.
Anyway, I would be interested in a group closer to me. Rocklin, Roseville anyone?

Also orchestrating in Orangevale, though frequently fulminating in Folsom, and always interested in an excuse to go downtown.

Active in Arden Arcade

I no longer have a car. My Crown Victoria station wagon died last June after 23 years and 260,000 miles. It was a great car. I work in Mdtown and usually ride the light rail. If my son isn't using it, I can borrow his car.

I've looked forward to NaNoWriMo 2008 for well over eight months, and now that it is almost here, I have my work cut out for me to win. I have too many things going on in my life to devote all the time I need. Rest assured, though, I still intend to pass 50,000words!

Determined (not to fail spectacularly this year) in Davis.

For Davis write-ins, I'm hoping we do the Crepeville thing again, since they have lots of room, good food and drink, free wireless, and were very tolerant of us hanging out there for hours at a time. I also really liked working at Stone's Cafe (I continue to go there now for food and drink).

Common Grounds in South Davis is good, if you can take over the couch area.

Any other suggestions?

Can't wait to have a go again this year - my first year, last year, was a failure for completion of 50,000 words (or, er, 10,000 words even), but a success for fun and challenge! ;)

I second the possible write-in locations as being good ones for Davis.

There will probably be something in Roseville. We did Saturday nights at Panera last year, I'm debating if we're going to do that again or go somewhere else.
