Hey all! Tina here, just re-posting the info on our pre-Nano-ing at Politics & Prose in Van Ness. Brander and I are there most nights, and if you wanna double check if we'll be there you can always snag me on lj (fictionaldupont.livejournal.com) or twitter (twitter.com/littledupont) but seriously, most nights from 7-ish on (on work nights, otherwise we're there most of the day), we're up there!
We'd love to have other people join us for some crazy pre-Nano jitters/coffee olympics/plotting/excitement!

I'll second that. P&P has great coffee, cool staff, free wi-fi ... and, me, five or six days out of the week. So, yeah.

Hey, this sounds great! Is it hard to park around there? Or is there a good bus line? Metro kinda sucks for me coming from Silver Spring.

It's pretty easy to park, especially if you get there right after rush hour when the parking restrictions expire for Connecticut Avenue. Even before then, I've had very little trouble parking on the side streets by the BP station (Fessenden??). For bus lines, find one that goes down Connecticut. The metroopensdoors.com site would probably help you out.

From P&P's website:
"By Metro: Take the Red Line to Van Ness. We are one mile north on Connecticut (a 15 minute walk). You can also take an L1 or L2 bus from the Metro stop."
I may try to stop by some evening after work

Last year proved that I fail at social nano, but I'll try again this year. I'm on LJ too, so I'll let you know if I'm planning to be down there sometime.
