I'm here now, and I just can't wait for November to roll around! However I'm not actually in Bellingham, I'm in Ferndale, but everywhere else seems too small.

I think you can be forgiven for being for Ferndale, but just this once.

I'm here! I do live in Bellingham.

I am the Municipal Liaison this year, and I am working to get a meeting place together so that I can host weekly meetings, as well as other special events.

I hope to come to some of the meetings and events this year!

I don't live in Bellingham anymore, but I did NaNo 4 years in a row there with these lovely people and many others who I hope to see around the board.

Maybe I will get the chance to visit our fair city again while this year's nano is happening.

I'm going to be blogging my progress this year here. If anyone else has a nano blog, please let me know and I'll bookmark you! The daily feedback and encouragement has really helped me in years past.

Anyone know what genre you're doing for this year?

I'm in Custer and hope to make it to a few events. This will be my first Nanowrimo!

Yes, for year two! Hope I get out to see folks this year - that's the plan. My genre will be historical, but I'm not sure whether it will end up young adult or middle grade, probably YA. I'm out in the county, but still have a Bham zip, so I can go in to town for a get together or out to Lynden this year. Hi to Ferndale! Kim

Hey, I'm Stephanie and this is my first nanowrimo...I've been meaning to do it for a while and now I'm really willing to give it a shot. I definitely want to hit some events in the area as they come up.

I'm here (in Ferndale--mom of Jethan and Maivry) and completely out of ideas. If I write anything at all it will be either romance or fantasy.

I'm here! This is my first NaNoWriMo, but I'm excited about it. I'm hoping to get the second draft of my thesis completed in November also, so I probably won't be able to attend a lot of the meetings. I've got a few ideas for this month of mayhem, probably in the historical mystery or fantasy arena. I'll hopefully be able to settle on one prior to Nov. 1st. Good luck all!

first nanowrimo, though i feel like i should have known about and attempted it earlier. currently 19, been writing ever since i can remember. i've always wanted to attempt a novel, but i always get a little intimidated by the prospect and end up with terrible writers block. hopefully this goes well.

It is a really good coffee shop in downtown by the two used book stores and near the yarn shop... if that helps.
