[EDIT] I've just discovered that Cafe Vista (in Meadow Vista) has free wi-fi! It's a really nice little cafe, with good food and coffee, and I know the owners, so I might be able to talk to them about it. Possible?

Oooh, I live in Nevada City half the time and Penn Valley the other half, so I'd be more than happy to attend any gatherings we arrange! I'm so excited--last year the only gatherings I attended were just my friends and I, and we didn't find any other NaNoers. I would be happy to host a subdued gathering without costumes in my Michel de Montaigne Memorial Electronic Cottage within walking distance of downtown Nevada City. It would be useful for me to pitch my story both int he 30 second version as well as the two minute version. Also introduce my main characters in 120 seconds. Anyone else up for this, give me a call. My house is small and if many respond we might have to move to another venue.
