Howdy! It's my last year in Aggieland, and I want to make it a memorable one as far as Nano goes. I never got involved with the crowd that seemed to do this every year because I didn't have transportation in 06 when I won, and I was too busy to participate in 07. This year, however, my schedule should allow me to get involved in Nano! Anyone know of any plans or anything?

Though my location says Dallas, I really am here. :) I would love to get together with some of my fellow writers (preferably on campus since I do lack a car) and have an all night write-in or something. I started Nano last year and had a blast. Hopefully, the experience repeats itself...

There's one!

Any place is good for me, on campus or off. Usually there is a small crowd that gets together once a week or so to have write-ins from what I could tell. I could be wrong, as I never attended any. Not sure how many have graduated, moved away, and whatnot. Since I probably won't be going anywhere over Thanksgiving break, I'd be all for a full-fledged, all-night, write-in then, or possibly a weekend.

I'm here! I've love to meet as a group. Right now I hang out at Cafe Canterbury and it's a nice place to meet. It's in a church and, you're thinking - eww, evangelism - but I've hung out there all semester and it might be the most liberal church in town (aside from the Unitarians), i.e. no evangelism. Anyhow, it's just south of campus, and has free coffee, espresso, cappuchinos, etc... right now they have baristas Sunday-Tuesday nights but we could probably meet there outside of those times and barista ourselves...

Howdy!

This is my first time to do NaNoWrMo. I'm not sure how great it's going to go considering exams and finals and whatnot, but I'd like to give it a try anyway. Good luck to everyone!

My first time attempting this. Actually, my first attempt at writing in general. I'm expecting a glorious crash and burn. Should be fun. Anyway, if people start meeting regularly, I'm so in. Anywhere in CS is good. Coffee Station's my favorite, but not exactly quiet.

Best of luck to everyone!

I'm here!

I was here in '06, but I stopped being able to participate with the group early on because most of the people were college students and a college student's schedule just didn't work with my super-early morning shift as a stocker, so the get-togethers were never scheduled when I could go.

But hopefully, that shouldn't be a problem this year.

I'm hoping for a good turn-out this year.

Hey! I'd be more than willing to make time for writing. Name a time and place and I'm there.

Howdy!
This is my 3rd year doing this, and hopefully the 3rd year to complete it!
I'm writing a scifi trilogy, so I already have the plot, the outline and characters ready.
We usually meet to kick off the writing @ about 11:30 halloween @ IHOP,
then start writing.
I would have to leave soon afterward, gotta go work in the morning.
I normally work til midnight, but I'm currently off Fridays, and up til 6:45 pm & after 9 pm on Wed.
Where and when would everyone like to meet?
Let me know!

Howdy!

My home locale is Austin, but I spend most of my weekends in Aggieland with my boyfriend and at football games, so I affiliated. Anyhow, this will be my fourthyear doing NaNo ( I think, I might have counted that wrong) and I've only won once. I really only half-participated for about a week last year because school caught up with me. This year, while I have NO IDEA what I'm doing yet, I hope to finish or at least get farther. :)

Good luck to all of you!
