I'm just curious...are there any Nanoers from Hawaii Pacific University in the house? I can't guarantee that there will be any smashing parties or get-togethers, but we're always overshadowed by UHM (no offense to the Warriors) and I'd like to see if there are any writers closer to home.
We'll probably end up crashing other peoples' get-togethers, but that's fine too, I suppose.
Have a happy planning month, everyone!

I'm a UHM student myself, but my writing buddy is from HPU. She said she'd participate this year -- I have to remind her to sign up.

Ha ha ha, I know how hard it is to get some people to sign up for Nano once they've had a taste of the frenzy. I'm probably going to have to drop a few people off my friends' list because of it.

Hey Trisha great to see you here! Hopefully we can still convince people to come try it out, anyways :p. I know a few people from HPU that work at some of the cafes, maybe they'll finally participate ^_~.

The last time I did this, I was a Sea Warrior grad student. Alas, that one failed for obvious reasons. I'm back, though, and always happy to support my fellow Sea Warriors. :)

Hey, scrivener! I haven't seen you since Ryan and the two of us met at Zippy's. Howzit?
Thanks for the suggestions, but getting HPU together for anything is usually a pipe dream. I love my Sea Warriors, but we're absolutely crap on land. I'd love it if we could get together, but I'm all for bumming off the ML-assigned write-ins. Thanks again, MLs.
23 days till Nano. Hope everyone's doing okay. Don't get sick.

Trisha, of course I remember you. Anytime we had one of Ryan's gatherings and someone showed up who wasn't me or Ryan would be a memorable occasion. I'm glad to see you chose HPU for college; it's a good school and I'm proud to be associated with it. Did you ever get to see the photo Ryan took of us? I have the Flickr link if you never saw it. How's the novel?

Oh, I'm glad to see you remember me. (= No, I never got to see that picture. It's been a while, so I probably look way different now (I mutate every year, ha ha ha). Thanks for adding me.
As you can probably tell from the bar next to my name, writing is consuming my life, but I didn't plan to have a life in November anyway. I probably won't know who the president is until December 1. I'm loving it though. How about you?
I'm glad to see that there are other HPU students here. If any of you would like to talk, feel free to contact me.
Take care, everyone! Write like mad!
