I developed two software programs which I am making availible to NaNoWriMo participants for free.
One is NaNoTrack. It allows you to enter your word count each day and then it gives you your daily goal to get your 50,0000 words written. It shows all days in November and lets you judge your progress. This program is free.
The second is Characters. It helps you keep track of your characters. Make sure your character does have green eyes in Chapter 1 and blue eyes in Chapter 9, unless there is some way in the plot that the eye color changes. This program is free to NaNoWriMo participants.
Both work on the Alphasmart Dana or any other palm that runs Palm OS 3.5 or above. You can download them from http://writerbenjamin.com
