Or to pens. Or laptops. Or whatever you use to write, basically. :)
It's time for another glorious NaNo! I can't wait to see and hear from you all. To the newbies, welcome! To those returning, welcome back! Congrats to everyone who finished last year, and also to those who didn't--at least you tried. No matter what your history with NaNo, this November will be a fresh start for all of us.
First, we have our own region now! Go to the Auburn, Alabama Regional Forum and start posting! People from nearby/surrounding areas are welcome too, of course!
Second, there's the matter of write-ins and such. The meeting place will continue to be the Cambrige cafe downtown, and write-ins will be held Sundays and Wednesdays. Dates and times are on the calendar in the Auburn Regional Forum.
Third...how is everyone? Feeling good? Who's got story ideas already? Characters? Plots? Don't worry if you don't, I'm still working on those things myself.
Hope all of you are having a splendiforous day! War Eagle!

Hey MM!
Its Kate! I'm really excited about this year. When will the kickoff party be? I'm assuming it'll be at Cambridge? I'm glad that's our homebase.... its definitely my favorite coffeeshop in town.
I have a few ideas already. Basically its a novel thats been bouncing around in my head for months now, and I'm going to "Carpe November" and try to get it on paper!
I invited a few people on FB so I'll be sure to pass the info along to them.

Hey!
All the info for the Auburn write-in is posted on the Alabama::Auburn forum; the link should be in my initial post. And thanks for inviting other people--the more the merrier!
