Since this thread went away went the site went down, I'm reposting it.
Anyway, I'm working on the kick-off party right now, and am wondering what day and time works best for everybody. I can't guarantee that your best day and time will be picked, but I would like to have a general idea of when people are available. The kick-off party will be around a week before November 1.
Here are your choices:
1-Saturday morning
2-Saturday afternoon
3-Sunday morning
4-Sunday afternoon
5-none of the above
And on one other note, since November 1 is on a Saturday this year, is there anyone who is interested in getting together to write at midnight? I know I previously said Lestat's but... they are having a big party on Halloween, so they might not be the best choice. (Thanks Bettina!)
Please post both answers here.

4- Sunday afternoon works best for me.
I won't be able to get together on the 1st. I will be in NYC peparing to run the NYC Marathon on Nov 2nd.
I will be lounging around with my laptop though, hopefully getting off to a good start on my wordcount!

I am fine with any of the weekend times and interested in the midnight writing session too.

I like Saturdays. I hate it when I have a conflict between nanowrimo and my pro football team (the 49ers).

Saturday afternoon would work best for me, followed by Sunday afternoon--I ride in the mornings.

Saturday afternoon would be best for me personally. I think... Sometimes my boss is a(n) (insert naughty word here)... I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the midnight kickoff this year, as Saturdays are always incredibly early mornings for me. I'll be one of those last-second deciders, probably.

Okay, so far it's looking like the kick-off party will be on October 26 in the afternoon, based on everyone's answers. I'm going to wait a few days before sending anything out and/or posting an offical announcement for any stragglers.
Edit: The kick-off will be in October, not November (my bad!). I haven't decided officially on the date or the time, other than a weekend afternoon. The location's still undecided, but I've narrowed it down to a couple places. I should have a more definite answer early next week, so be on the lookout for an email with all the details.

I won't be able to make the kick-off party because I'll be out of town the last weekend in Oct., but I'm definitely in for a midnight rendezvous.

Anytime/Day works for me. All my October commitments will be done on the 22nd.
I'm scheduled for a party on the 31st but I can more than likely make a Nov 1 midnight write!
