So, I was tottaly ready to start on October 1st. I was hipped, I was excited (I really needed something to do). I sort of knew what I was going to write about (small details, really). I was poised ready to type my little fingers off. Then somthing was slightly off, realization and let down. It was October and NANO is in November, shit. Small details (like october being before november) they're always my downfall. So, now I'm waiting for November, waiting for the little clock to start its count down, waiting to see the bar under my name get closer and closer to 50,000 words, all the little things. If anything I have time to change my mind like fifty times about what I'm going to write.

Ugh...I know what you mean. I love October and it's always been my favourite month but man, I can't wait to get rid of October so I can have me my November NaNoWriMo!

October is my favorite month, too. I'm not anxious for it to be gone because it's beautiful and I have absolutely no ideas yet. As soon as an idea comes, though, I'll be just as anxious for November as the rest of you. ;-)

So? Write something else while you wait.

I've had my NaNo story racing around in my head like some cats in an empty attic, thumping and bouncing and scrabbling all over, and I've been taking notes and having delightful breakthroughs regarding character interactions, intrigue, world details, how the magic works, and I keep drawing the characters and maps and designing their environments and food and even their damn shoes, and I bet anything that when November 1st runs around I'll be like, "Eh, I feel like playing Monkey Island."
