Late Afternoon Party at the Library
Watch Stranger Than Fiction and get inspired!
October 31, 3:00pm, 1000 Canyon/Arapahoe, Library Auditorium
We'll having a late afternoon party for all ages at the Boulder Public Library. Teens, BVSD is out of session on Halloween and adults hopefully you can sneak out of work early. We'll have a few door prizes to give away and we'll be showing Stranger Than Fiction (Free - Paid for by the BPL Foundation). Our Fearless Leader will be having the big Boulder party later in the evening I think. So you can start out at the library, go have dinner, and end the evening at V's before you start writing furiously at 12:01am!
Teens, we'll also have the Teen Space open 10-5, so you have somewhere to spend the teacher inservice day.
Here's the official blurb:
Since 1999, wannabe novelists from around the world have been trying to write a novel in one month, during National Novel Writing Month. That’s right, a 50,000 word novel in one month. Join us for a kick-off party at 3 p.m. in the Canyon Theater at the Main Library, where the movie “Stranger than Fiction” will be shown to get everyone in the writing mood for November. Check http://www.boulderlibrary.org/ or http://www.boulderteens.org/ for more info.

I *so* wish I could be there. Oct 31 will be my last day at my part-time job, and I suspect I'll end up being there late because of tying up last-minute loose ends. Enjoy the movie for me!
Edited to add: This event is now on our brand-spankin'-new Regional Calendar!
