Is any here from LaPorte County?

This is my second year doing NaNo but the first where I'm actually stepping out and trying to connect with others in the area.

I was able to finish last year thanks the the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and am looking forward to trying it again this year. Well, maybe "looking forward to" isn't quite right. Maybe "dreading but ready to jump back in" is closer to the truth.

I've yet to see or hear any response from my plot bunnies or any other plot animals so I've no idea how this year will go.

*steps away from mic and waits for someone else to show up*

er, hi! I'm someone else.

This is my first year doing NaNo, and I'm just thrilled that there's anyone within a 100 mile radius that's crazy enough to do this too.

I don't live in Laporte county but I live in Porter county, which is pretty close, sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

At least I have a dream to work twords, even if it doesnt come true I'll have at least tried, and there's nothing that's stopping me from trying again.

I'm from LaPorte County, MC

This is my 5th or 6th Nano, all of which were successful in WC but not necessarily in story.

This year the story in new and fresh, new characters and setting. Urban Fantasy. We'll see how it goes.
Good Luck.

I am having a open kickoff party if anyone is intrested.
I am suggesting a day long kick off event at Panera Bread in Valparaiso.
I'm thinking very open ended. Show up when you can, stay as long as you can.
I plan on being there pretty close to when the place opens till probably around lunch time, maybe latter who knows...
I know there is a few people who are intrested in meeting at 6:00, and some others who have to work at night. So maybe this will work out best for everyone. We'll be easy to recognized, We'll be the ones typing furiously...

So if your intrested in meeting with a bunch of other wanna be writers. Feel free to come out.
