Hello!

Things have gone a little wacky this year with my work schedule. It is a bit random this year and it doesn't look like much will change in the near future.

This is the event schedule as of right now.

Kick-Off Party
Date: Sunday October 26
Time: 1pm-2pm
Location: Henrietta Town Park Chase Pavilion

I'm taking a risk with the outdoors, as it is Rochester and it could snow tomorrow if it wanted to. Lately during the day, the weather hasn't been that cold, and there are still many outdoor activities going on in October so I figured I'd go for it. The Pavilion is first come first serve (it didn't make sense to reserve the 100 capacity one) so the end of October aspect gives us an advantage. Also, I will get there early and pounce on it.

I will be providing cider, donuts, and swag.

There is lots of parking, space and it is centrally located. Those that want to bring their kids can let them roam on the playground, and it is a weekend and during the day. Totally opposite from years previous!

Write-Ins
Date: Every Sunday in November
Time: 1pm-3pm
Location: Henrietta Public Library (walk in, go around the desk, and then head to the left. There will be a bunch of computers and then some tables, find the lady in the neon green shirt--that's me)

I was surprised how few local libraries were open on the weekends, especially Sunday. There is Wi-Fi for those who want it and the parking is free. The only downside is that no food is allowed and bottled water is the only allowed drink.

TGIO (Thank Goodness It's Over) Party
Currently TBD. Will update accordingly. If you've got an idea, please send it along.

Now, you are all probably going "what's with all the Henrietta?" the simple answer is I can't be everywhere and if I have to be at work at 4, I can just hop on 390 and be there in less than 10 minutes.

I hope everyone can make it; I wanted to give advanced notice so you can make any necessary plans. Again, the shirt is really bright green; you'll be able to find me. These are not the only events there will be, these are just what has been planned so far. Please see my other post, “Want to help?"

You are a great region and I look forward to seeing you all!

I live down the street from the park, so as long as I don't have to work, I'll be there. :3

You don't know how happy this makes me! :D I live less than a mile from the park and the library, and my transportation has that day off work! *sparkle* As well as I don't have to worry about a work schedule/holiday insanity (trying to find silver lining, yay).

Don't worry, I'll tone down the hyperness in person. I'm just really, really excited about this!

I'll be the girl with glasses in a cherry red coat.

Oh, cripes. It's already time for the kickoff party?

I know this is last-minute, but is there anyone in the RIT area who could lend a ride to the park? I have no means of transportation. Alternately, if anyone knows a bus route from RIT to the park, please let me know. I just want to get there, one way or another.

I live in the city (Monroe/Goodman area), and I don't THINK I have to work. (As it gets closer to the holiday- I work in retail- Sundays will be out for me).

But as of right now, I have NO gas money. If some one could give me $3 for gas (yeah, I'm that broke), and wouldn't mind my very messy car, I'd be happy to give them a ride. I'll check my email here freaquently between now and then if you want to contact me.
