Where can you be found this November? Are you a stay-at-home-wearing-pj's kinda writer...or will you be in the pub/cafe/library?
:D

I have no idea, this being my first attempt at NaNo! I think it might be a mix of both for me - I don't like too much noise to work, so being at home is great for that, but I think if I stay at home for all my writing, I may go slightly mental from not seeing or talking to anyone for a month! I might give a coffee-shop type setting a try and see if I can concentrate there.

Anyone got any recommendations for places that have worked for them?

The house for me, unfortunately.
No coffee shops or other writing haunts anywhere nearby. I will be chained to my desk most of November... Maybe I could unplug the laptop and write in bed for a while, but that's about as exciting as it gets around here!

I like a mixture of both. Im in Roath Park, and the Deli Rouge on Penywain Road/Mackintosh Street junction is a brill place to work. I use an alpha keyboard (amazing battery life!), order a huge coffee and off I go. Startbucks on Wellfield Road is ok, but gets quite busy.

Maybe I'll see some of you around :-)

I think I'll be staying home......I work best with lots of peace and quiet. I may head out to the library for a change of scenery at some point and maybe it would be worth trying a cafe at some point as I've never tried writing out of the house! If it doesn't work at least I'll have had a nice coffee!!!

I'm not far from there - maybe I'll give the Deli Rouge a whirl!

Home, mainly - but I've been seen typing on my laptop in a lot of strange places in the past. Cafes, pubs, waiting rooms, cars, trains, buses, libraries, shopping centres, ... - no shame, me!

Home mainly... And work too, if I know the boss isn't gonna walk in and see me 'doing nothing'.

At home, and probably hand writing stuff to type up while commuting on the train and between lectures at Uni.

Well, not exactly at home, but in my current-home in France, probably, as I'm in a little village with not that many coffee shops that would be suitable to write in.

I'll be dropping down to McDonald's to upload my word count etc... though, since they have free wifi for customers, and my appartment has no internet!
