November approaches! If you want to be truly prepared for the breakneck pace of NaNoWriMo, you'll need a blank book that won't let you down when modern technology does. My hand-bound notebooks can beat up a Moleskine, and they're ready to receive your novel in whatever medium you choose to write it.
My standard pocket-size books measure 3" x 4.5", and hold 156 pages of high quality drawing paper and a built-in ribbon bookmark. I have over 25 options for cover material, including four varieties of aftermarket suede that make for an extremely durable and aesthetically pleasing softcover book.
If the pocket-size books don't float your boat, I do commissions and can accommodate nearly any need for size, cover, paper, and binding. I would love to make a book that complements your novel's genre and style.

"Beat up a Moleskine"? Those are some serious claims, and as I huge Mole fan I'd love to see someone outdo them in functionality and aesthetics. I need something lined, though, and appropriate for a horror writer. If you've got time before NaNo or after, let me know and I'll pick one up.
Those are some really interesting-looking books, by the way. Very nice.

Oh, I stand by my claim. My books have more pages, better paper, and sturdier binding. I've filled up my share of Moleskines and I like them well enough, but they tend to wear quickly and they're so homogenous.
I can certainly accommodate lined paper, and I have all kinds of ideas for covers appropriate for a horror writer. Shoot me an e-mail and we'll work out the specifics.
