As much as I absolutely LOVE counting the orange barrels on 161, I would love finding fellow writers in good ol' Ne'rk even better. Are there any out there?

Yep, there sure is! I'm originally from Newark, now living in Mount Vernon. Great meeting another from the Newark area...

Best wishes on the contest and keep in touch, if you like...

Let me know if you want me to organize a write-in or whatever they're called where we all get together somewhere and write...

I also live in Mt. Vernon. If you do have any write ins, be sure to post them up. I'm part of a writing group that meets in Gahanna, and we all get together at my house at least once during NaNo to write, so people aren't afraid to come out to our "neck" of the woods.

How often does your writing group in Gahanna meet? I just moved here back in March and would love to find some writers for NaNo's off season.

Hey there,

We meet every other Saturday (loosely) at 10 am. We're still small (6 members), so the meetings do get rearranged if a majority of the people can't show up. If you want to learn a bit more, you can check out the website at www.creativemindscollective.com. It's a pretty new site our group leader put together. There's an email link for questions, or, you can ask me here, or whatever. We're all pretty flexible. :D I'm Chris, by the way.
