Directions (my annual task):
From I-696, the best way is to turn onto the Woodward Ave. service drive north, then immediately bear right onto Washington St. (The intersection has an empty block on the right, then townhouses beyond that. Take Washington about half a mile, past the community college. Turn right on 5th St, opposite a new-ish tall apartment building.
If you take Main St. from the freeway, beware that 5th St. does not go through all the way to Main. About 1/2 mile from I-696, you will be approaching the edge of downtown Royal Oak. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn left immediately onto 6th St and cross the railroad tracks again. Woody's is one block north (right) and one block west of this point.
From I-75, go west on 11 Mile about 1.5 miles. Pass Main St, then turn left at the second stoplight, Washington St. Cross the railroad tracks, then turn left at the second street, 5th St.
Parking is free on Sundays on the street and in city lots. See: http://www.ci.royal-oak.mi.us/media/parking.html

I hope to be there! I'm really looking to connect with other writers in the Area.
I was hoping we'd have something closer to the 31st, perhaps a midnight kickoff but sadly, I don't have the funds to host one :(

Hey! Someone else says "muchly"! I've never known anyone besides me who says it...except for my kids, who briefly used it when they were little.

I can has a will be there too. Looking forward to completing year 4. anytime works for me. As I live in Ypsi, 2:00 PM is better than 8:00 PM, but I am flexy and bendy and I can make words leap out of tiny places. too bad my hands are so big.

I hope to be there -- there is nothing like meeting all of the other people who are crazy enough to do this to spur one on. Unfortunately, that is also the day of the Zombie Walk in Ferndale so I will probably be late.
And my skin may have a grayish-green tinge.

to answer multiple questions: there will be some nano goodies there. I'll try to get some out to the write-ins as well for folks that can't make kick-off
If you can't make kick-off - come to a write-in! You can't miss us, all those computers, coffees and dedicated flying fingers.
Yeah spouses!
Cool! two waves, spreading the nano love... not in that way
