I'm wondering if we know of any locations that have computers available (where I could plug in a flash-drive; I have no laptop), and how much it would cost.

But feel free to discuss meet-up spots in general. :)

I wouldn't know! I had no laptop last year so I handwrote at all the writeins, which actually proved to be lovely for my word count, because whenever I took it home to type it up, I ended up with twice the words because I kept adding stuff!

My laptop is so old and slow, I will most likely not use it this year. I might just hand write at the write-ins. I don't think I will have a new laptop by Nov.

I have a laptop, but my BF has about three (you think I'm joking, don't you?), so I think I might be able to borrow one of his and then could loan mine out to somebody in need at a write-in. I'm not so sure I'd be able to get away with borrowing more than one. He's a bit anal with his technology.

I could borrow my office laptop, perhaps, as well. It weighs a good 500 pounds (OK, I am joking there) and is running Win 98 and Office 97, but it works just fine.

Surely some other NaNo in Wichita will have a spare as well.

I might have a spare, if my brother and sister-in-law don't need it. But it has a tendancy to freeze the mouse, and rebooting is the only option for continuing. Ctl-S works on Word, but I found it really annoying doing my first NaNo.

Awesome! And my roommate JUST bought a laptop too, so there should be no shortage of digital ease. Looking forward to meeting and writing with everyone. :D

If we ever needed to eat somewhere, I know the people who own the Mr. Goodcents by the Sam's Club and Party City.
