I should have mentioned this earlier, but as large as our territory is, carpooling is encouraged. If you have extra room in your vehicle or need a ride, please feel free to use this forum to find others with whom you can make arrangements.

Anyone in Riverside going who wouldn't mind carpooling? It's that or I take the bus at 8:45am to get there by 1pm.

Yes, me and vandonovan are carpooling down there from Riverside. Drop me an email at crysbo7 (at) hotmail (dot) com or a PM and we can work out details =)

Heya Rem! I'm carpooling with kingsgurl down but I have to admit my car is a mustang convertable and the backseat is pretty tight. However if you sit behind kingsgurl and she pushes up, it might be all right. (And in comparison of getting on a bus at 8:45am, it might be far more enjoyable.) But I thought I'd throw that out there. I'm also asking $5 or what not for gas. Otherwise, I'm totally fine with carpooling. Email me at van.donovan AT gmail DOT com and we can work out a pick up location, etc.

I'd love to go, but my company dinner is that night, and there's just no way. :(

I hope everyone has a great time.

I know this is entirely last minute, but I was planning to carpool with VanDonovan, from Riverside to Temecula, but my car died on me today and it's out of commission until mid-next week. Now I don't have a way to get from Rancho Cucamonga to Riverside to carpool. Is anyone heading down there from this area? Or Ontario/Fontana/Upland/etc?

I never quite realized how much trouble not having a car is.

I know! Me too! :) I guess I'd better get offline and get in the shower now--I hope the water is still hot! I keep meaning to get off the computer and start getting ready, but I also wanted to make a post about the kick off party on the wall of my facebook page--which I think I might be using more than twitter in November...we'll see...

I can't believe I forgot to take pictures at our kickoff party! Quick, everyone come back to the library! Right now!! I even bought new batteries for the digital camera and thought I was so prepared!

sigh

OK, never mind. Just promise me you'll try to remember to take photos at your write-ins and then we'll take lots and lots of pix at the TGIO party. Promise??

Thanks for coming everyone. I had so much fun getting to know a little more about everyone and having faces to put with names. I also got some terrific tips for my screenplay - which will need to wait until after November before it gets attention again!

Hope to see you all again at write-ins.

And thanks for tips on starting a house fire. xDD

Yup, you're setting a house on fire and killing someone, I'm offing a guy with an odorless, tasteless poison... anyone else being violent this November?

Alas, I opted out this morning for a variety of reasons. Sad, because I always enjoy kick off parties, but it just didn't work out. I look forward to the finishing party though, and I'll try to remeber to take pictures at one our write-ins.
