Anyone live in the Grand Prairie area? We have 2 or 3 Starbucks to choose from for write ins here, but I only have a desk top, and pen and paper, alas, no laptop :o/

I am in SW Arlington just down I20, and alas only have a computer at home. Maybe we can meet during the month sometime with our sad little pens and paper??

Alphasmarts, people, Alphasmarts! They are perfect for portable word processing, but a heck of a lot cheaper than a laptop! And they don't have all the annoying distractions of a laptop. I love my Alphasmart for writing even when I'm at home and have access to my desktop, just because I can go sit on my couch and lounge about.

Boy one of those is on my wishlist but cannot do in time for NaNo. Just spent $250 for airfare to get my daughter home from Tech for Thanksgiving and that is the most impt. thing on the list at the moment! I really miss her, I am going to have a problem getting my word quota in on the days she is here for sure
