This is my first time too. I have no idea how I'm going to fit this in between college and everything else, but I'm surely crazy enough to try! Should be fun to see how long it'll take me before I go off the deep end. What's your novel going to be about? Do you have any plan,or are you just going to wing it?

You're not alone. I've written about 200 words. It would have been more, but I'm entertaining company. Here's to hoping for a better word count tomorrow :D

First time NaNoWriMo, and just trying to discern what to leave and what to throw out of the plot I've been turning inside my head for quite some time.
Oh, and I'm from Sarajevo, writing in English too, not for the first time, but yeah, first time this extensively.

Another Croatian here! From Zagreb too. I'm almost at 2000 words, going rather slowly since I have so much to do outside of NaNoWriMo.

This is my first time writing something so long as well - it's freakin' scary, isn't it?
As for the plot, just go with what feels best to you. I find that the characters sometimes run away from me and where I wanted them to go.

That's my biggest problem too. I'd much rather be writing for this than some silly college assignments. But when needs must...
