I'm in Aylesbury, Bucks. Anyone out there? Maybe we could have a Bucks meet at some point, for anyone in Bucks and surrounding areas??

I'm in Amersham, made my first proper crack at Nano last year, which got wrecked by getting a temp job slap bang in November, after months of free time.
A meet might be fun, I remember there being plenty of Bucks folk, lets see what happens as the 1st approaches.

Hi, nice to know I'm not alone in Bucks! Was beginning to wonder.
I'd prefer a meet before Nov rather than in Nov, since I shall feel busy, but let's see what happens? Encouraging that you remember lots of Bucks folks.

Fellow Aylesbury gal!
----------We should have a write in. I think someone tried to organise something last year but it didn't really happen. If we can work out a suitable venue , I'm up for trying a few write ins. I dunno if I can go out of town though, that's the only problem.

Oooh hi, Seraph7... :)
Nice to have another Aylesbury gal! :) I'm not keen on going far, either - would prefer in or near Aylesbury.
Am I reading it right that you wrote 96k for NaNo last year??!!! Big WOW.

We need to find a venue for this meet, if we're going to do it. Do we want to do this somewhere public (i.e in the town centre, in the library?) Or round someones' house?
----------I'd really like to have at least one session this year, as last year was a bit lonely to be honest.

Are you thinking of a write-in, Seraph?... all writing separately but together? I don't have a laptop. I would have preferred to meet beforehand and chat to people, but time is very short now.

Hi
I'd be interested in a meet up. Technically I'm not in Bucks, but live just outside Aylesbury on the Bucks/Herts border.

Yes. If you're busy I totally understand, but I really want to have one just for the experience. Maybe this year, if anyone's interested.

Hi All
I'm not officially bucks - but spend a lot of time in Chesham as my sister lives there. I live in Berkhamsted. New to all this and looking forward to seeing how it works out. Gulp. Any Berkhamstedians or Cheshamsteadians out there?

I will be @ Aylesbury lending library Tuesday 3/11 from 2pm.
If anyone want to join me they are more than welcome. It's open 'til 8 but we don't need to stay that long and they have ample power points for laptops, research materials readily available just in case, a photocopier and I even think they have a coffee machine. I know it's short notice, and we will arrange other meets later on , but I decided we may as well get this show on the road.
Hope no one minds me taking the plunge!

OK, I'm jumping in second. I will probably be in the Eden Centre library sometime this Saturday the 7th. I will be the person bashing my laptop with my index fingers.

Got to library about 2.15, but didn't see any fellow Nanowrimoers there so wrote for half an hour and then left. I hadn't thought of going to the library to write at lunchtimes before, but I'll definitely be doing that now on a regular basis during Nano.
