There's a whole bunch of things we can do, if people are interested:
*We can set up a Facebook page for th' Verwrimos.
*We can have a Twitter feed.
*We can set up our very own (easy to use!) chat room, if people would like to chat all in one place.
I'll be setting up a Google Calendar shortly, which will allow us all to post info about meetups, check to see if we got th' times correct, etc. etc. This way, we can post events that're happening all over th' state!
What else would strike your Collective Fancies? What would y'all like?

A group on Yahoo! Groups would be nice. I'd love to partake in Vermont stuff for NaNo.

A Facebook page would be great! I am also in the Burlington area, and would love to come along to any gatherings that happen (pending childcare issues, of course!). Best wishes to all!!

If we are voting, I vote for Facebook. It is my second home on the internet.

Just to be clear, too, we're not saying you have to pick one thing. For instance, I would never have thought of Yahoo! Groups because I just don't use my Yahoo account, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't happily make one. But, of course, if you do use all of these things...Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Yahoo!, etc...you would have to be prepared for serious duplication of information. I suspect that if, like me, you have all these accounts, this isn't news to you!
So, okay, we've got definite interest in Facebook and Yahoo! Groups, what else?

Facebook would be my first choice because it's easy to use, is versatile, and I check it every day unlike Yahoo which I haven't used in months. A Verwrimo page on FB would be great!

:D
Facebook is my friend.
Also, Twitter would be nice n' handy...I guess for those who are more active on that. I'm personally on FB far more than Twitter, but I think either would be spiffy.
NanoWrimo has a twitter feed as well! I'm not sure what that changes, but they do. ;P

Any word on there being another New England Word War? If so, count me in.

Ha! I knew it! I was just saying last night that we might as well get in touch with the other NE MLs now about word wars because it's only a matter of time before someone brings it up ;) Well played.
We are going to get in touch with them, then we'll post a thread in the forums with the details of the Word Wars proposal, who's playing along, what the rules are, etc. Then you all can let us know if you dig and we'll either do or don't do based on what people think. My guess is, if past years are any indication, it will be so on!
