Hey, I know we had a small group here last year. Just wanted to say hi if any of you are trying again. :)

I'm kinda in that neck of the woods - other side of Walworth County, though. I did attend UWW for a year, though, back in 03!

So hey!

Hey! Yes! I'm planning on doing it this year. Last year I sort of quit halfway because some major stuff came up.

I actually want to do an interview for a class assignment about NaNo. Would anyone be willing to do audio interview sometime between now and next Monday/Tuesday?

Perhaps. What would this interview be like?

Sorry I post so late, but its good to see some U-WW Nano'ers this year. Last year was uber-vacant and a tad lonely.

This is my second year writing. Last year I wrote mystery/thriller. It was a rush but the outcome was less than expected. This year, though, I'm writing a sci-fi and the outline is already kickass!

Can't wait for the first, it'll be a good year for sure.

I wasn't a UWW student the last time I did NaNo, but I am now. How exciting! XD

Hi! I'm not a student but I am in the area. Have we ever had a group this big before? :o)

Good luck and Godspeed, everyone!

Hey U Dub Dub folks-
I attended UWW 2001-05 and live in Lake Mills at the moment. This is my first year taking part in NaNoWriMo but assume all of my numerous writing projects at UWW have been good practice. Good luck all and write on!

Thanks! I ended up finding a different topic to do my article on, though.

Not a student, but a WW resident. My first year of Nano. Got my MFA 10 years ago at Goddard College in Vermont, and I've been slackin. This is my kick in the ass project.... I've always been deadline driven. New to the site, so gotta poke around see what there is to see.

Great to hear from all of you! How're the novels going? I've scrapped my storylines 4 times in as many days but I've FINALLY settled on one I think I can do. It'll be nice to actually HAVE a word count. :) Hope you're all doing better than I am!

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all having a good time! I've hit the week 2 slump already and just don't WANT to write. :-O My cat is now the poster child for evil and my little sister is the poster child for distraction. Oh, and all my friends decided it's time to get together because we haven't in ... nine months? Ten? All in all, I'm watching my nice wordcount cushion get flattened, and I'm totally ambivalent.

On the plus side - I realized on Tuesday that this is a totally, completely happy story. There are NO scenes in this novel that I'm going to feel compelled to type with my eyes closed (I don't want to *see* it!). Last year I cried through half of the book. :-D

Good luck this weekend, all.

Just a quick shout out to the UW-W NaNoers!! I graduated in the spring, but it's good to see so many from the school participating! Wish I could be up there to write with you all!

How's it going, everyone? I feel like I'm never going to make it out of the thirties - I have been here for over a week now. I blame all of you. :-D It's a choose-your-own-adventure, so *you* are my main character. DO something!

Good luck!
