Hey there everybody!

Well, last year, there were about half a dozen triad-area writers that agreed to meet at Barnes and Noble, or Starbucks, or wherever about once a week during NaNoWriMo. We also met once or twice before, I believe. I was just wondering if anyone from around here is doing NaNo this year, or am I alone? :p

It might be kind of fun to try and set up a time to meet at the Barnes and Noble in Winston-Salem, or maybe Foothills Juice and Java in King, in late October. I'm going to be out of town from the 25th-30th, so it would be great if we could meet before then... say, the 24th :p

I and a couple other writers I know are in the High Point area, but it might be worth the trip for a couple write-ins. Keep me posted on the when-and-where decisions.

How does 1-3pm sound, for October 24th? That seems to be a good time for most people (and me). I'm going to e-mail the group from last year, and see if they'll join us as well.

Just bring your laptops/notepads, questions and comments :D

M'kay, I'll be at Barnes and Noble at the above time this Saturday. I'll be the girl with a rainbow checkerboard bandana on. Is anyone definintely coming? If not, I know a bunch of WS writers are meeting on November 1st in Kernersville. It'd be nice to know though, if anyone is definitely coming, because, if not, I probably don't want to just show up at the bookstore with a lap top :p

I am super sorry everyone... there have been some unforseen circumstances going on at my house, and I'm going to be unable to come. Like I said, really, really sorry. I'm sitting here with no transportation. There's no way I'm going to make it.

Gosh. I feel awful about this. Here I went setting something up and now I can't even come... :(

I'm really sorry. Maybe another time.

Hey there. We've got a Facebook page up now for NaNoWriters of the Triad. We've got a couple of write-ins planned in Greensboro and High Point. Come check us out (as if you need ANOTHER excuse to kill time!) :)
