Ok, since I live and work in Surrey, it makes the most sense for me to hold an official write-in somewhere in Surrey. Considering my work schedule, I'm currently thinking about holding a write-in at Central City, either Saturday mornings (say 8:30-10:00), Thursday mornings (I'm free up until I have to start work at 1:00), or Monday afternoons/evenings (though this will depend on whether my regular Monday night events go on hiatus in November or continue on). Just wanting to check if those times would work out for anyone else or if I'm just plain crazy for even considering morning write-ins?

Hmm, I don't know if you're crazy necessarily. ;P
If I could make those times I would go but unfortunately I have school during the week and Saturdays @ 8:30...? I'm asleep til noon most of the time XP
Plus, I don't have any way of getting there (I don't like taking transit alone :x), or I could bike... but I'd have to get up eeaarrlllyyy.
Any chance of having a write-in closer to Delta? Then maybe I could do Saturdays or whatever other day. :3

Depending on how my Monday's look in November, I could potentially do a Monday afternoon/evening write-in closer to Delta. The other times only work because of the location, since I work at Central City mall and they are right before my work begins. Is there a particular location closer to Delta that you know might work for a write-in?

I think Monday afternoons (or any afternoon in general) would work for me. I don't really know where we could do a write-in exactly... personally I was thinking of going to the Starbucks that was up my street just with my sister to begin with. But I was also thinking of the Strawberry Hills Starbucks... I think I only just realized how many Starbucks places there are around here LOL. Yeah, I don't have a preferance where it is, other than I'll probably have to walk/bike there.

LOL. I live near Central City but work in Delta. Mornings would work great for me considering I usually work nights. Too bad I don't own a laptop and I don't dare attempt NaNo with pen and paper.

I live and work in Cloverdale, but I could make it out to Central City on Thursdays. I bus, so nothing insanely early!

I'm up for write ins in Surrey and can probably make those mornings. Central City sounds like a good location as well. Count me in.

Hey Jennerosity!
Great to see such a Jennerous plotter. I thought I'm the plotter of repute in Surrey! My son will attest to that. Read, "mom's plots to get me 'hitched!':)"
I'm game for any or all of your times.
Only condition, I get really snarly if anyone peeks over my shoulder. And for the longest of times I was a two-finger typist, Oh! guess what? I just noticed, I still am! Bur now I'm a faster two finger typist, so if your other novellers type away to glory at jet speeds, I'll be, yes, you got it, SNARLY!!!
Other than that I'm a peace loving, fun to be around, unteacherlike teacher, and writer.
Looking forward to meeting buddies.

Please keep us informed as to what the majority decides, and when we're going to start. I'm in California right now, and return to Surrey, on late Saturday (31st).
So, I can start in earnest next week.

Ok, I decided that I'm going to do 2 write-ins on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 10 until 1 (well, just before 1, because I'll have to walk to my office and arrive there AT 1). I've added it to the calendar already and will pop it in the announcements thread too.

Good Morning!
I woke up at 2.30 AM this morning to play "catch-up." It's now 5.43 AM and would you believe I've managed to creatively avoid writing.
Boy do I need a write-in!
is Wednesday's write-in at Blenz at 5PM on?

Oops! I just noticed that it is indeed on. Will definitely try and make it. But, hey drinking lattes and frappuccinos will go against my other fetish for this month - weight loss. Can you believe I've signed my life away not only to Nanowrimo but to Real Age to lose another (yes, operational word, another,) thirteen pounds. So if I'm not the most pleasant around you all know why.

At the Blenz now. Sitting behind the cash register with a laptop and a tent table set up. Not many chairs nearby, but we can always pull something from the upper level or there's plenty of room at the bar too.

Hi Emmeline-Christabel,
Hope to see you at the Thursday write-in. I'm sticking with just the 2nd and 4th Thursday for the extra write-ins since my schedule probably couldn't handle doing Thursdays AND Saturdays. The calendar has all the details on the official and unofficial write-ins, so check there for all the scheduled events.
