People are beginning to email me asking other about NaNoers in their area. I would suggest that, if people would like to get together with others from their area of Maine, be on the lookout in this forum for where people say they live. If you see someone in your area, contact them and see if they are interested in get-togethers or write-ins or whatever. MLs try hard to help people make connections but we can only do so much, as we're spread pretty thin. So don't hesitate to take the initiative, people!

Howdy All,
While I live and work in Houston, TX, I will be enjoying a trip to your beautiful state to celebrate my 10 year anniversary. The trip just happens co coincide with a bunch of events in Houston that I will be missing, such as the kick off event and many of the pre-kick off meetings that are being scheduled around Houston.
I'll be staying in Ogunquit at the end of October and for the first few days of Nov. So I wanted to catch up with the excitement with the Maine NaNoers if I could.
Will there be any events I go attend with ya'll while I'm in Olgonquit? I have no clue as to were this place is in relation to any other place in Maine, this being my very first trip to Maine.
Any advice would be very welcome and I hope to meet some of you. This is my very first NaNo and I'm very excited and a am experiencing a wee bit trepidation.
