(First off, I wasn't sure which forum to post in, but this had one less topic, so I evened it up.)

What is North OC and what is South? I live in that small patch of Tustin west of the 55. But I've previously split my time between Garden Grove/Westminster and Irvine/Costa Mesa. So where does that put me?

I'm in the same general area as you (just that smidge farther west in Santa Ana), and I've been part of the N. OC group.

I live in Los Alamitos, but I am on both groups because sometimes the North ones are closer and sometimes the South ones are... So sometimes I find it helpful to be on both lists.

HI!

The activities in North Orange County will probably be closer to your home. There are some of the larger activities, like the Build-A-Muse Write-In, that are co-sponsered by, and announced in both regions.

You are more than welcome to join both regions. Irvine and Costa Mesa are generally considered South County, and there may be some Write-Ins there that are close enough you'll want to know about them.

So, I suggest you join both and enjoy!

Hope this helps!

So can someone clarify the boundaries or borders? I joined both groups as well, because I'm not sure where I am! I live in Fullerton, Ca, about a block or two away from Buena Park. Does that make me NorSoCal? Or SoSoCal? :D

There really aren't boundaries. You're allowed to go to anything you want. But if you live in Fullerton, the North Orange County events are going to be closer for you.

Fullerton is definitely North OC. You're at the top of the county.

Thanks everyone! Also, I meant the geographical boundaries. Of course I can join any region, but out of my curiosity's sake, I just wanted to know what everyone considers north and south OC.

:D Hey, maybe I'll see you guys around!

Digging your signature. I'm a complete and shameless Firefly nerd. It's pretty bad, hahaha.

I second J.C. Firefly is great. And that episode is so funny.
