Greetings Seacoast Wrimos!

Some tentative details for the Seacoast Kickoff Party

Saturday, October 31st
Held at Weeksies Pizza - http://www.weeksiespizza.com/
66 Third St.
Dover NH

Time is flexible at the moment, so please chime in with what time you think would be best. I've called Weeksies and they say late afternoon is a great time to accomodate us. So perhaps 3pm-6pm.

If the kickoff wants to continue later we can probably stay, or we might want to consider relocating to Panera closer to the middle of Dover.

Please comment here with thoughts and RSVPs

Woo! <3 Weeksies! Anytime is good for me; I have no job. So. I'm flexible. FYI others: Saturday they're open from 11 to 9:30.

This sounds good for me....not sure how long I can stay, but I can definitely be there at 3. I'll try to keep posted on any changes. Thanks!

my boyfriend and I should be there. 6pm seems better than 8pm... although it doesn't really matter when it ends as we can just leave early but we have a Halloween party to go to (and mine has some full face paint). Perhaps we should just get into costume first so if we end up staying late we can just go to the party! haha

Any chance there'd be some people there a little earlier, say closer to 2pm? Really want to make a kick off, but have to be in Westford, MA for 4pm that night for work (I work for Witch's Woods as a makeup artist, and that's our last night so will be crazy insanely busy!). This would likely be the first year I've been able to make a kickoff party, so really hope I can make it! :)

And to the person headed to a party with full facepaint - what are you going to be? Hope you got good, safe, facepaint and not the wal-mart stuff! :)

Gonna try and make it down, for sure.

Tell me y'all will have a sign or something so I don't walk up to complete strangers and assume they're Wrimos, hehe.

I just moved to NH ooooh... a month ago? I'm totally down to meet some people and eat some pizza. I'll be there around 3 ish.

I'm also very pro-sign. Walking up to strangers is scary enough without possibly being the wrong strangers.

I'll see if I can't tool around in Illustrator and make something - maybe a table sign? That would work, right? 8 1/2 by 11?

I'll be there (unless I get lost). I'll be wearing my nanowrimo hoody which only helps if u see me from the front. I'll wave and gesture if you look lost. I'll be the one being led away in handcuffs from accosting strangers. hehe

Hey ashleynicole, been busy, you?
I'm going to try and be at the Dover one until just after 3pm... have to be in Westford, MA for work for about 4pm though (I can be a little later, but can't be too late...I'm one of the makeup artists...lol).
Hopefully we can catch up at one of the Epping write-ins!

heh... some of it is good, some is decidedly cheap and will probably melt my face off. It's only one night. AND i'm going to make sure I'm not allergic to it sometime this weekend (probably Sunday while I'm avoiding Football). Hopefully it wont take too long.

I'm going as the Cheshire Cat. (in a tutu. I didn't want to wear anything skin tight and couldn't find a cute skirt online, and since my friend is going as a ballet-style Alice, I thought I'd make myself a tutu as well)

Unfortunately, something's come up and I'm not going to be able to make it after all. :( Another year missed for the kickoff...bleh....Everyone have extra fun for me!

Hope to see some of you at the write ins at the Epping Starbucks!
Thinking of trying to start one for Wed. or Thurs. in Exeter, maybe at Me&Ollies? Just not sure how late they're open.

Happy Halloween and Happy Nanoing!

Well I've pushed it to the last day and I won't be able to make it. Too many Halloween commitments with the kiddos for me to carve out the time. Have a blast, and see you at a write-in!

Ugh, same here! Got called into work.
Plus have two vet school applications due tomorrow, and guess what? I haven't finished them! AGHH!! Plus one due on Nov 16 that needs essays written, and the biology GRE next week....

I was really hoping I'd have time to do Nano this year, but it's not looking so good...

Well, I ended up having to do a massage, and then doggy-sit my daughter's Pom since she was having a large Halloween party in a small apartment. So I was not able to go to the Dover kick off after all....sounds like everyone had a good time. Hope to make either tomorrow Panera write in or definitely the Thursday night one, also Panera. Good luck everyone! Paula

OK, so I'm a day late and a dollar short (and a lot more on both) for the "kickoff party," but I'm wondering about the write-in: Is it still at Weeksie's, or has it been moved to Panera Bread? I thought I saw something about Panera someplace.

Hi MrsMutton. Tuesday Write-Ins are at Weeksie's Pizza (Dover), Thursday Write-Ins are at the Panera Bread in Dover. Both are from 5:00 -- 8:00 pm.

If you go back to the page where you found this thread to click on (it should be http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/47 ), there's a little block at the top on the right with the schedule of Write-Ins and things.

Hope this helps. See you there! :)
