Asus 1000H Eee PC. It is my work horse for just about everything I do; email, html, writing, surfing, IMing. The battery life is insane on it. Holds a charge for days. And It runs Linux.

Warcrack and image manipulation (the little GIMP'n I do) are done on a desktop.

My trusty, almost 4 year old HP laptop. It has served me well, even if some of the letters are wearing off the keys.

Mikage is an ancient-looking Thinkpad T23. He doesn't like to spend any amount of time unplugged (and his battery life is terrible), he makes scary noises, he's very slow, and I'm constantly afraid that he's just going to give up and die at any moment.

He's my baby. <3

Valentine (named so because it was purchased on Valentine's day this year) is a Toshiba Satellite. Runs like a charm. If only I could get rid of Vista!

Mine is one of the new, aluminum Macbooks that I got in late May/early June for a graduation present. I love it. :)

A Dell Studio 1535 running Ubuntu 8.04...with a proper mouse and keyboard attached. Its name is Luke.

I had an old Gateway laptop until recently that refused to die despite all the slightly-evil things I did to it. (It's STILL not dead, I gave it to my sister.) I miss its keyboard so much, newer laptop ones do not compare D:.

Esmerelda is my black Asus Eee PC - I don't remember exactly what model she is, but she has a 160 GB hard drive and her top is super-shiny. Her massive hard drive means I don't worry about overfilling a SSD, her four-hour battery life and itty-bitty size makes her super portable, and even though her left mouse button just recently stopped working, I love her to bits. She has a Hack and Slash sticker on her top and I bought her with hard-earned Christmas present money. XD

I write on my MacBook Air, Hanz.

After I finished my first NaNoWriMo novel and was well into expanding it, my husband came home with this as a surprise and said, "Your next novel comes out of this."

I will also be using my older MacBook G4, which is on my treadmill; a white MacBook, which has the software for our printer; and our ASUS eeePC, which we keep at the dining room table for reading the news with breakfast.

I do not need jewels, flowers or fancy dinners-- give me technology!

I have a fairly heavy Acer Aspire 4720Z. I would've asked for something smaller to replace my old laptop but my eyes hate small screens.

I've got a HP Pavilion dv6000, named Master Penguin. It's a good computer, and my second laptop (first was a crappy Dell Inspiron which I gave to my mom). I keep upgrading it--added some more ram, a 320GB hard drive, a new screen when my backlight died... Plus it's got all my penguin and NaNo stickers on the cover. :D

I also have an Eee PC (Mini-Me; not sure which model because I got it in Japan) which I left back home and won't be using, as well as an Alphasmart Dana (Dana, but it needs a new name to go with its new paint job) which I *will* be using. A lot.

My lovely laptop is an Acer Aspire 5720-6200. I've had it for almost two years now and it's been pretty awesome. It is named Pingu and is shiny and black on the outside and is some kind of off-white on the inside. It's kind of a pain to bring everywhere since it's kind of heavy and huge (15.4" or something) but it's with me all the time anyway...

My husband is my technology junkie and so I let him do all of my technology research for me. He decided to add to his fleet of machines last Christmas. At that time we weren't married and he was living with a few other people close to his college. One of them, also a technology junkie, had recently purchased an MSI Wind. My husband decided that since his roommate liked his that, that is what he would get. Right before Christmas I was at his place visiting when my car was broken into and my laptop taken from it, so for Christmas I also got a little MSI, who I not affectionately call MO. She's little and easy to take with me and has a pretty good battery life. My husband's computer, Vader, has a larger battery so he can get up to 5 hrs on a single charge.

I love my MO

I write on a Compaq Presario C774TU, named Safire - she was an emergency purchase last March after my old laptop died, but now I couldn't imagine writing on anything else. I couldn't go back to using a desktop, that's for sure.

My laptop is a System 76 Pangolin running Ubuntu. I also use an Eee 701 4G (the original one) running Ubuntu Netbook Remix. I use rsync to keep them synchronized.

I'm on my third laptop in three years. The other's haven't been so trust-worthy, but they've slaved long and hard nocturnal hours of my constantly drumming my thoughts into its system.

This year I am putting my faith in my Toshiba Satellite L300. His battery life is generous enough, he's pretty nifty xD

Right now I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1300 that I got about...two, three, maybe four years ago. It needs to be replaced. Badly. The top is broken and doesn't stay screwed together, the "C" key doesn't work correctly. chocolate milk and mountain dew has been spilled on the keyboard, and the battery fried a while ago. Hoping to get a Dell Inspiron 15 real soon. As in, before November.

I have two laptops, because my old one an IBM thinkpad R32, otherwise known as Maximum (or as my sister calls her, Maximum Failure), is currently getting her files transfered over to my new laptop, an IBM thinkpad T43, otherwise known as Temperance. they're both my babies.

13" White Macbook, early 2008 model
Very nice condition, I bought it off a guy on Craigslist about a month ago.
He has a battery issue, where he only works off of wall socket power, but in a few months when I can afford it, I'm going to take him to an Apple store and get him diagnosed & sorted out.

MacBook Pro 13 inch - it's a bit diddy but great for carrying/travelling. Love it. Also, loving Scrivener on the Mac.

HP Mini 110. I love it for the same reason you love your Dell Mini - it's tiny enough it's not a hassle to lug it around. I hardly ever put it down because it's just so cute and tiny and easy to use. So I'm sure to always have it with me, which will thus encourage more writing. Even if I only squeak out a sentence at a time, I'll have my computer with me 24/7 so I'll still get a lot done.

I have a huge Dell Inspiron which I've had for about 2 and a half years now. It's a rather large and heavy computer, so I don't really take it with me unless I'm going on vacation. Not only that, but the battery life isn't that great, so I keep it plugged in whenever I'm using it. Also, the little cover for the "Caps Lock" key has fallen off, but still works when I press where the cover used to be.
But other than that, it's pretty reliable. :3

I'm using a Dell Inspiron 15. I got it the day I started college and he goes by the name Commander Cody. I love this laptop to death. I can't go back to a desktop. He has his days sometime but I wouldn't trade him for the world.
