Just reread the Aggies thread and am now wondering if I'm the oldest Wrimo in the region...
Anybody else here remember black & white TV, Star Trek in the original run and those crazy vinyl things they used to have called records? :)

I know what you mean... I've been reading the thread but haven't posted until now. I remember all those things! I graduated from TAMU in 1977. Moved back here in '82 and ahve been here ever since. This is my 2nd attempt at NaNoWriMo, and I really hope to finish this time. I've co-written 2 novels with a friend, but this time I want to finish one all on my own!

Ditto that. And yep, loved records and don't forget the Atari 2600 being cool! :-)

And what about Intellivision? Seeing TV for the first time--as a third grader! ??
There, don't you feel better now?
(This is my first Nanowrimo, first post, but I am getting excited. Fortunately my blood pressure is great.)

1st time to the site, 1st time to try putting the novel into words. Friend is doing it and thought this would be an opportunity to see how it goes.
----------I am mid 40's and yeah college kids can make you feel old.
Not an aggie, moved here in 2000 to go to school at Blinn and other reasons, loved the place and stayed, moved in 2004 and then came back 18 months later-bought a place, opened my own business and still here.

Now I don't feel so bad.
I remember all that, and more.
