Welcome to National Novel Writing Month 2009. And welcome back to NaNoWriMo for all returning authors. Hard to believe it is almost November, isn't it? But, the Pumpkin Festival was last weekend, which means next up is NaNo. Are you excited yet? I know I am, and especially so because this year the PenNanos have a new co-ML! That's right - Laura (cesium) has agreed to help me Linda (lindac) this year, and boy am I glad to see her. Now we have both sides of the hill covered. You'll be hearing from us on occasion for the next couple months as we dispense encouragement, information, and news about local and bay-wide NaNo events.

Judging by my inbox, I can tell that quite a few of you have already been there, but if you haven't, please do so now, if for no other reason than to check out the new header for the regional forum. Then check back frequently for news and updates. Right now there's the introduction thread going strong, and I'll be adding event & write-in announcement threads, as well as some orientation notes for new NaNo-ers. This is your forum, so visit often and join in the discussions.
