- Unless there is just no way anyone can get there, I'll be holding the Write-ins at the Panera at Southgate on MONDAY nights from 6pm to 7:30pm. I know I said Wednesday first, but Mondays might be better (except for NFL fans). I would suggest having the write ins at a sports bar, but some of you wouldn't be able to get in, and I would certainly not get any writing done! So, if you're still interested, our first southern write in will be Monday, November 2. We'll do some timed writings, but this first one should be for getting to know each other and just getting into the Nano groove!
And don't forget that Narniaprincess will be at the Powers Panera all day on Sunday. This would be a great time to get ahead of your word count for those slow days when nothing seems to be moving in the brain. Hope to see you all there! K

Okay, if you're looking for somewhere to write on the south side, come and join us! We'll be pretty informal, but fun. I'm hoping to meet every MONDAY and possibly some Wednesdays, too, at the Panera in Southgate. Who knows? Maybe we could even take over the coffee shop inside the Borders once or twice for variety. Also, as a first time NaNo-er, I have to ask, what's the situation with power outlets at write ins? Will we be able to plug in a laptop or just have to go off of battery life?

I don't know the exact number myself as I've never been to that Panera and have no clue about write ins myself as a fellow first timer, but if it's like most Paneras and coffee shops they should have a few scattered about. So I know I'll be bringing my six outlet surge protector with me so that way there'll be five open slots for people around where ever I'll be sitting if that helps.

I work until 6 on mondays, but the Southgate Panera is on my way home, so I'd be willing to drop in and write for a while. I have two 6 hour batteries for my netbook, so I won't even take up a power outlet, go me! I didn't participate in the people stuff last year, but I figure I might as well now.

Okay, south-siders, I'm sorry I had to bail on you on Monday. It was a mess of miscommunication, traffic and further tooth problems caused by the removal of the problem tooth.
