Hey Bulls!
Are you a student, a professor, or a staff on campus? Or live close to the campus? Here's the place! I am very much interested in doing write-ins on campus. So if you want to do that, give a shout.
As for me, I am a student, first semester at USF (though, not new to college experience). I look forward to doing write-ins on campus. :]

I'm not a student at USF, but I live close by.
If you decide to organize a write-in, I would definitely go and possibly bring a friend as well. (Another wrimo, of course!)

I'm a student, and I might be up to do a write-in, but I'm not sure yet with how work and other things (and the actual writing) will fit.

So, I'm curious--anyone interested in doing a write-in at Midnight on Nov. 1st? (We could even dress up for halloween! Bonus points if you dress up as your MC or a fashion found in your world that you're writing. =D)
If not, then we can just do a write-in during the week. I'm free most of Mondays until 4:30 (then it's classes), Tuesdays after 4 pm, Wednesday, same as Mondays, and too busy on Thursday. Fridays & Saturdays is free all day. Once we all find common ground, we can then meet up at the library (or a different place if you think it's better.)

I can't midnight on the first. I've already got plans. Mondays and Wednesdays I'm free after 3:30. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm available anytime before 6. I live in St. Pete so it's difficult for me to get to campus on days I'm not already there. I'll totally show up if I can even if it's just for a few minutes.

I'm a student there and would show up if it fit my schedule. If we did do a write in at midnight on the 1st, where on campus would we meet? It's pretty much shut down around then, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure the study area in argos study lounge/argos gym is open all night. That's where my friend and I used to go after the library closed

I am very pleased to see that there's a number of you wanting a write-in on midnight this Saturday!
I'll think of something, I think the study lounge in Argos is the best idea. I will have to check out the place before this weekend around midnight. Though, since it's also a Halloween night, there might be some celebrations going on there. It's just my guess, this is my first semester here at USF. haha
Speaking of celebrating, feel free to bring some snacks and drinks! (non-alcoholic ones of course.) I think we should meet up at 10 pm or so. To get acquainted with each other and everything.
All you need is something to write on (paper&pen, computer, etc), and, optionally, snacks and drinks to share.
At the stroke of midnight--it's word wars time.
In case you don't know what a word war is, first, pick any time limit (5, 10, 30 min, etc) and we all start to write within the time limit. At the end, whoever has the most word count wins.
If you want, we can do 'warm-ups' before midnight. Just can't be used in your manuscript. It can be a character study of some supporting characters in your story or whatever is your fancy.
Any other ideas or suggestions are most welcomed! Also, I'd love an idea of how many are definitely planning on coming to the midnight kick-off.
As for write-ins throughout the month. We can perhaps hold two write-ins a week so that it fits everyone's schedule. How about sometime on Tuesday after three pm, and sometime on Friday or Saturday in the afternoon? For the write-ins, would the library be best? Or maybe MSC? Before each write-in, at least 12 hours in advance, I'll let you know in here the exact location. So, suggestions are welcomed.

So, I talked with a few people. I found out that the study lounge of Andros had a problem with homeless people sleeping there and doesn't open past 9 pm anymore. So, depending on the number of people wanting to come to kick off party, I have a few ideas. Some are: meet in dining area (requires a meal plan or pay whatever it cost to enter, around five dollars I guess.), if we keep it down and pretend like we're studying, Juniper Poplar lounge area in front of mail boxes, or, if all else fails, my dorm room (apartment style so there's plenty of room.)
Suggestions?

Sorry, to be a downer, but I suddenly felt overwhelmed and now I'm not sure if I want to nano or start pulling my hair out. haha
So, for sure, I don't think I will do the kick-off tonight. Besides, I've not really had any definite answers of attending it, so I don't think it's best for me to go ahead and hold it when no one might show. As for the write-in during the month, we can aim for a Tuesday after 4 in the afternoon at the library at the very top floor. First one to get there can use a piece of paper and fold it in half to say Nano Write-In at a table near the doors on the left side of the elevators. If busy, try the other side. =] I've nothing else to do after 4 pm and possibly start heading back to dorm before cafeteria closes at ten. Though, some days, I might be late, doing my training for my triathlons.
Is this day good for everyone else?

Awesome! So far, I am thinking Tuesdays after 4 pm at the top floor of the library. The first person to arrive there can fold a piece of paper to make it stand and write Nano or Write-in, or whatever that relates to Nanowrimo. =] I'll definitely be there every Tuesday except maybe the 17th (just a bit late though).
The weekends... it'll be something we can discuss. Fridays or Saturdays? Or alternate the two? I just won't be there on the 13th or 14th.

Heya Vrose,
Yeah, it was fine at 2--I showed up, and wrote at one of the picnic tables. I never checked my e-mail again. Sorry. D: We can meet up next Tuesday and Thursday at the same time and place.
Melissa, there's a write-in on Tuesdays after 4 pm at the top floor of the library.
To spot me, I'll be wearing my navy hoodie that says USA Swimming (to every write in). And my purple EEE like in the picture.
Anyone up for tomorrow at the library (top floor) after 1 pm (I will be there until about 6.)
