People at the Border's Write-in were interested in a possible GTown/ Glover Park location. ,

Suggestions were Bruegger's, La Madeleine (sp.), and Georgetown Cafe.

Interest? Ideas?

Since I'm literally just over the bridge in Rosslyn, I'd totally be down for a GU-centric write-in.

I work at 31st and K, so early evening write-ins in the area would be great for me! The upstairs at the Starbucks by Wisconsin and M is really nice, with lots of tables and a fireplace...

I live in Glover Park so I would love to have write-ins in the area! I could do anywhere on Wisconsin. M Street drives me crazy, but if that is where the consensus is I would venture down that way. What do people's Thursdays or Mondays look like? Or, both! Because I am verryyy behind already...

I'm on Pennsylvania right where it turns into M street, so i'm totally up for a write-in. Name a place and I'm there! (Barnes and Noble, anyone?)

Yay!! Finally convenient write ins for me! I live right in the middle of you guys, so either Glover Park/Wisconsin write-ins or M Street write-ins would be great for me! (It's so hard to get to other stuff because i dont have a car and there's no metro stop in Georgetown...) Let me know where you'll be and I'll be there!

I like this idea; I just started yesterday because I (cough cough) forgot, so I'm super behind. Gauging interest for a write-in on the 2nd floor of the M St/Wisconsin Starbucks.

I heard Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays... or all of them.... Here are potential times, at least.

I'd be willing pretty much any Monday through Thursday from 5:30-7:30, 6-8, 7-9, you get the idea. It's more just picking a day. If earlier, I like Mondays or Tuesdays; Wednesday all the time.

What about a Saturday write-in? We blew it this week, but next Saturday afternoon could be nice... 2-4?

I could be at 2nd floor of M St Starbucks this Monday at 5:30. I'm the girl with rather severe bangs and a NaNo noveling machine sticker on her laptop PC.

Sounds cool, I'll keep checking this thread. There a way to get the events added to the calendar? Especially if they become more regular.

I do most of my writing during the day (a perk of your company dying a slow death is tons of down time), but couldn't hurt to see if I can get more ahead of myself. Plus, couldn't hurt to be social, haha.

Looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Alright everybody, so this is what I will post. It is time to mobilize!

I am going to post Mondays and Thursday 6:00-8:00 at M St/Wisconsin Starbucks. I will probably myself not get to Starbucks at exactly 6 on Monday due to work, but I know others of you said that earlier would be good. If we could just make a sign or something indicating our group and maybe staking out some tables, that would be great!

By the way, I am a red head with a nose ring who will be cursing and gesticulating madly at a Compaq.
