Hey,

I know at least two folks on this forum live near the Vienna metro, so I was wondering if anyone would want to meet at the Starbucks at the Pan Am Shopping Center (Lee & Nutley) and do some chatting/writing/whatever. If you could comment with preferred times/days maybe we could set something up informally. Thoughts?

I could relocate my Barnes and Noble write-in to here, which would open up Wednesday or Thursdays. I would need to skip out around 3:30 but that's my only time constraint. Any other takers out there?

I'd like to try a write-in. I get out of work Wednesday's at 12:30 - so I could get to Pan Am by 1-ish.

Any chance we could have it over a more extended period of time? I work nights, so I need to be on the metro and gone about 2. If we wanted to do 10-2 or 11-3 or 12-3 or whatever, would that float people's boats?

So what about meeting thursdays at 10 or 11? I can make it tomorrow at 11, and I guess we'll take it from there? I've got a bright green nalgene bottle with a white lid.

That sounds terrific!! I'll show up wearing my Torchwood T-shirt. (It's my exercise shirt.)

Tomorrow at 11. Look forward to meeting you and gabbing about our novels!

Anyone else in?

I am heading out now. Look for me with the headphones and the jacket over the yellow T-shirt. See you shortly!

I wanted to go but something has come up. Hopefully there'll be another one.

Of course there'll be another one. We had a really good time gabbing about our novels and working through our plot holes. When's a good day for you?

I am currently unemployed so any day works for me. I'm going to need some second opinions because I'm at the not uncommon point of having a second idea pop up recently and now I'm not sure which to choose.

Wow, this location is literally walking distance for me. Unfortunately, I work during the day, so unless we meet up on the weekend or at night, I won't be able to join you all.

I'd love to have weekend meetups as well. We were thinking the Starbucks on the corner might be a little tight to squeeze in on weekends, and we might actually go with the one in the Safeway, which is paradoxically much more spacious.

I'd be up for this Sunday to get us started on the right foot if you wanted... anyone else?

I could probably make it this sunday somewhere between 10:30 and 2, but generally sundays i have the least amount of free time. As for the rest of the week, mondays and fridays are out, i host a "write in" on wednesdays which I'll move if people will actually show up, and saturdays are pretty hit-or-miss.

Next week if we wanted to have enough time to be productive, do you want to meet at 10 instead of 11?

I'll probably be there tomorrow morning 10-ish with my laptop if y'all want to join again. I know that I suck at advance notice ^_^ but I had fun meeting accio_aqualung last week so.. holler if you're interested, guys.

10 am it is! (or whenever I'm up and functioning). Are we meeting in the starbucks on the corner or the one in the safeway? Not sure what the plug situation is like in the safeway starbucks. Do you have a power strip you could bring?

I'll see if I do. I bet we have an extra. You want to try the safeway one just for kicks?

Sure, lets try the one inside the Safeway. See you then!

Quick heads up people - On account of both of us (me and tiptoe39) being gorged on turkey and stuffing on this coming Thursday, we're meeting on Tuesday instead, inside the safeway, in the starbucks. Or the frozen pizza aisle. Or maybe the frozen starbucks section? Is there such a place? Or maybe stop by the frozen pizza on the way to the pop aisle? We can figure that out later, I guess.
