I think it'd be nice to have a kick-off party this year. If people are interested, I'm sure the local library would be happy to host one, or we could find some other place around town.

Ah! I would love to! The only problem is that I have no way to Grand Island. I'm stuck a little ways away in little old York. It's nice to know that someone is so close (well besides one of my friends I wrangled in) that's doing this too.
