I'm Michelle, I live in Port Jervis and this is my fifth NaNo (and hopefully my third win).
Are there any other wrimos in Orange County? I'm probably the only one here in PJ, but there have to be a few in Middletown at least, right? Or should I be in a different regional forum?

Hey I'm living on West Point actually, this is my third year, and since you may have guessed that we are military, this is the first time I've written from Orange County. I haven't even been to a write in, the first year I wrote from Germany actually and even though there were a few of us writing from over there, we lived too far from each other, and last year I moved on the 9th of November into a new town in virginia and didn't upload anything or even write more then 1000 words, probably wasn't the smartest idea to try in the middle of a move but I wanted to anyway. I don't know if I'll have time for write ins, but its nice to know people around here are participating too! Keep up the good work, only a few days to go before the kick off, I'm really prepared this year and supper excited!!

Duuuuuude!! :D I live in Chester and I was thinking no one else in my area would be doing this so I am so excited. There's something comforting in the fact that there are others nearby that will be going through the same agony I will be going through. :P

Hey all, work in Middletown, live in Bullville, am in the Port Jervis area relatively often. This is my fifth attempt at NaNo and hopefully my third win. I have never been to a write in, but I totally think that Borders in Middletown or Barnes and Nobles in Newburgh would be great places. I am driving up to Massachusetts to a write in with some college friends. I really want to get involved with NaNo, mostly for the selfish reason of motivation. But good luck to all and keep in touch with word counts and write ins!!!

Hi everyone! I'm from Walden. It's so nice to find others from Orange County. This is my first NaNoWriMo. I have so much going on this year, so I'm not sure if I'll meet the 50,000 word goal. But I'm okay with that. I'm glad to be back in the writing game after being out of it for so many years. Plus, I'll be more prepared next year. This is a whole new experience and I plan to savor every moment of it. I joined at the last minute without a story idea or anythng. I'm having fun though making it up as I go along!

Hey everyone! I currently live in Sugarloaf, though my mom lives in the city so I affiliated with that region instead. Is anyone interested in maybe trying to organize a write in somewhere around here? I would hate to have to travel all the way too the city, and I think maybe if we did it somewhere up here it would be really small and probably kinda cool.

Yeah! Hi to all you other Orange Countians! (Yes, that is a word :P)

This is my first NaNo. I work in Middletown and live somewhere kind of in the Monroe, Chester, Goshen, Washingtonville, Blooming Grove area. No one can quite figure out where we live, so I always get confused :)
