So, there seemed to be limited interest but I thought I'd check who wants to meet up to start as the clock strikes twelve.

The idea would be to meet up at Finnigans (or another place if enough people prefer) at 11:00 or 11:30, Oct 31st. I'll call ahead to try to get the wall with the outlets. Then when it turns Midnight, we all start writing. The meeting lasts until 2, or whenever people need/want to leave.

If anybody needs rides to or from the event, I can help out there as well.

Oh, that's true! So when do we start . . . when exactly do we "fall back" an hour? Do we have to wait until what was formerly Sunday at 1 AM, which is the new 12 AM? Sheesh talk about confusing!

Here are some daylight savings answers:

Apparently it's "legal" to start at regular midnight, before rolling the time back 1 hour.

Yeah, time will go like this: 12 1 1 2 3 4

We'll actually have 25 hours on our first day. ;)

So, everything remains the same. We'll meet up at midnight, and stay as long as people want to.

That is if anybody's interested.

I have quite the Saturday right now, so unless I am unconcious or drunk, I will be there at midnight to get a couple hours in. the story wants to come out and play.

I'm totally up for this. First time doing NaNoWriMo in Missoula. I'm going old school with pen(cil) and paper.

Well, that's at least three people, so I'll show up around 11:30 to make sure we get a good place to sit.

Sounds like a blast! I'd like to try to make it; will you have some handy signaling device with you so I don't have to wander around asking everyone if they're there for NaNo? I didn't make it to the Meet and Greet, so I have no idea who you are and what you might possibly look like in costume or otherwise. =x

I'm just gonna get a table in my name "Owen Kuhn" and let them know I'm with Nanowrimo, so I should be easy to find.

Have fun, everyone! I'll be writing at midnight, only from the cozy warmth of my home. It's too late and I'm too tired to trek across town twice after midnight on the day following Halloween...see you all at the PM write-in!
