I know there are a ton of them out there and the one that you like is probably one that no one has heard of yet.
So let's get to sharing!
Okay...I'll start.

If you need some incentive to keep writing, this will do it. Keep writing or it makes a horrible sound. Have fun.

Mine are writing prompt/practice related. I really like this one:
http://www.oneword.com
When I need a short break from my work day, I'll visit. Basically, every day it's a new word, just one word. When you click GO! It gives you the word, a blank box, and a 60-second timer. You just start typing and see what you can come up with. But they keep the same word all day, so you can only do one word a day (boo). In a similar vein is:
http://oneminutewriter.blogspot.com
Her prompts are a little more in-depth than just one word, but again you only have one minute. She encourages you to post in her comments section, but you don't have to. She has a timer on her site but it's not as stream-lined as oneword. The bonus is that she keeps her archives up, so you can look at old prompts. She also does Fiction Fridays, where every Friday has a fiction prompt (although you could always write the daily prompts from one of your character's point of view, which could be great for character development).

Here is another posting I've found with a lot of stuff in it!
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/06/28/50-free-resources-that-will-i...
It covers some of the more 'nuts and bolts' aspects of writing. Not just the esoteric.
Looking for rhyming words?
Proper use of words?
Word count checker?
Dictionary?
Spell-checker?
All kinds of stuff up in there!
Happy Writing!

Not that I like just hearing myself type here...but I DO like to look up writing resources online. This one came to me via Twitter. And regardless if you love or hate him, Quentin Tarantino IS a good story teller.
Here's one of his secrets:
