Thanks again to all who showed up at the Starbucks meet tonight - had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing you all again!

For those who weren't there - and as a reminder for those who were - we've been playing with two ideas so far. First there's the idea of meeting again at the same time next week, probably at the central library if we can get the space there, for a write-in session. More details of that will follow as soon as we know what we can get. In addition to that, next Tuesday there may be an event at the Oxfam bookshop on Castle Street (not far from McDonalds and the fountain for those who know the area) for all sorts of creative types. Writers are included, but there may also be musicians, handicraft enthusiasts, photographers, film-makers, artists, sculptors and even cooks in attendance. It's a sharing session as much as anything else, an opportunity to get your work out there and discuss it as well as discussing other people's work with them. Having been to quite a few Create Nights, I can highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the shop manager (who runs the event) isn't around this week and I won't be able to ask him if it's going ahead until he gets back. Again, more details as I have them.

I think that's about all. Let me stress this now, though - even if you didn't come to this meet, we still want to see you at the next one (whenever that may be) if you're keen to come along. We haven't turned into an exclusive club and we won't be shunning any new faces that show. Everyone's welcome to come and join us, and as far as I'm concerned the more the merrier. :D

Happy writing, all!

It was great to meet you all too, really enjoyed myself. I stupidly forgot I have college next Tuesday evening (half-term has messed with my head lol!) so I won't be able to make the Create night sadly. I'm definitely up for next Wednesday. I'm pretty laidback about where we meet but would prefer close to central Swansea if the evening as I don't drive. Does anyone have any ideas other than the library? Or does anyone have any requests for preferred times?xx

Hello everyone!

I hope I didn't make myself look too stupid tonight ^_^

But you guys are all pretty interesting people ^_^

And I'll give a shot to phoning Central tomorrow, maybe we could make it a lunchtime (or indeed, morning or afternoon) rather than evening, that way no one has to walk through town when the idiots come out, but what day are we all looking for? and time?

I'll make preliminary enquiries with the library tomorrow, and hopefully we can sort something out for next week (or we could invade Subway again ^_^)

Nice to have met you all, although I did feel like the old giffer at the meeting (which I was, hehe)
Well, good luck to you all, hope you all hit the target in time.
Best

Hi guys,

Sorry couldn't meet you all last night, I'm glad you had a fab time (also jealous that you had a subway!!!!). Hoping to make it next week, we all would have started our Nano journey and it would be interesting to see how everyone's coping.

The evening would suit me best as the little one can stay with his Mamgu.

Take carexxxx

ps THREE more sleeps!!

It was nice to meet you all last night - hopefully peer presure will make me actually finish this year. I'd prefer to meet up in the day but the bus to the library runs pretty late so I should be able to make an evening or two.
